It had been ages since I’d been there last, but I was reminded of what a nice venue De Barras in Clonakilty is when I was down there for a jaunt last night.  I could be wrong, but I think perhaps it didn’t even make the  Munster shortlist for that Hot Press Best Music Venue in Ireland thingy there not so long ago.  Hmmmm… hard to figure that.

Someone nicked couch, lamps, bookshelf AND wardrobe now. Aww...

Songwriter Gavin Moore runs a lovely night on a Wednesday in there called the Sitting Room Sessions, replete with stage dressings of a couch, bookcase, lamps and various others, though Gavin was saying that someone has recently robbed his wardrobe. Shame !!!

Feeling a bit short on sleep now, but the first of the ‘Live at The Passionfruit’ MP3s has been lashed up on the website. There’s something slightly sick about the Myspace music player at the moment and it’s not allowing downloads. BOOO !!
